Femalia
The Most Femine Adornments

by SUSAN

After years of ignoring my curiosity about beading, I signed up to take a class and that was it. I love lots of detail and the more involved and detailed the more I like it. Though I'm a watercolor artist by trade, I am constantly trying new things and coming up with new creations. So there you have it.

The bracelets below are samples of the pieces I have created. To see more of my jewelry, please visit my page at www.etsy.com

bracelet Spring
First Sign of Spring

First Sign of Spring

$180

A beautiful dichroic glass cabachon is the focal point of this embroidered cuff. This bracelet was inspired by the first sign of dafodils coming up. I tried to keep the colors suttle as to not overpower the cabachon focal point. The remainder of the bracelet is embroidered with swarovski pearls, rondelles, cube beads, czech fire polished beads and tube beads. It is very comfortable to wear. The backing is black soft leather.

The cuff measures 6 1/2 inches long (not including the clasp) and 1 1/5 inches wide. With the clasp it measures a total of 7 ".

This bracelet does not have a metal cuff inside. It's a flat piece of embroidery with a barrel clasp.

Necklace

Bead Emboidered Necklace

$155

This is an intricately bead embroided necklace. The stone I think is Jasper. Lots of seed beads, pearls and cat's eye beads. The pendent hangs from a leather cord and is approximately 19 inches.

The actual pendent measures 2 1/4" x 3 3/4 including the bale.
